The Happy Hippie Way

This Happy Hippie's journey began in earnest after an unexpected Life challenge ( and very almost tragedy) altered the course of her life. ( See 'Where there's wool there's a way' on Home Page for more...) In this game we call life, she was left with only two cards to play; 'Sink' or 'Succeed'.....As natural as sinking may have felt to her right then, it just wasn't an option worthy of entertaining, and so she simply stood up and set out on her newly mapped course... The road to success.... Her own, personal success that is.

 This new road that headed in a new direction has been life changing so far as well as a remarkable journey of discovery and of finding, inventing and implementing new solutions to old (and new) challenges ,obstacles and problematic situations . It was on this journey that it was decided to stop dreaming and speaking of  the ideal  'paying it forward' principle and to rather start enforcing instead, and where better a place to start than that very place where one's heart lies, home. (Home is after all where the heart is....is it not?) Home.....what if I didn't have that thing called home any longer? ....well the answer to that is easy..( although 'easy' was not the word of choice initially !) Number one on the To-do list : Find a Home.... and so the journey had begun...What had once seemed like the end, was in fact only the beginning - the start of something bigger, better and beautiful - the starting point of the 'road less traveled' to 'Destination : Personal Success" by means of : ...

The Happy Hippie's Way...

 To bring any sort of change, you must first become the change.

  My hope is to encourage  living life as naturally as possible, without causing harm to ourselves, other people, animals or the earth. And to dream, see and achieve the potential and inner strength we have locked away inside ourselves for way to long, to live the dream we all individually dream. 

I would love to share what I have learnt along the way and to provide a platform for the truly wonderful discoveries and I have discovered, and this is the foundation of what Happy Hippie Products is built on:   

• Happy Hippie Products try to use natural materials and ingredients in our products as far as possible (we are also just a work in progress) 

• Happy Hippie Products Support local community initiatives and ethical, fair trade practices ( keep watching this site for more info and updates on this) 

• Proudly source all our products in South Africa - being proudly South African means supporting local industry

• Believe in sharing information and constantly learning

• Believe in honesty and transparency in our dealings with suppliers and customers

• We only sell custom designed and handmade products and only sell products we use and believe in ourselves

• We believe in being ethical in all our dealings and upholding our integrity.  

• We believe in, and aim to encourage and enforce the uplifting and affirming of others and 'paying-it-forward'

• Have faith and believe enough in ourselves to publish this declaration.
